After being in the north, we took a train down Thailand's peninsula. We took a boat to the
tiny island of Ko Tao, because we heard they had cheap, quality scuba instruction. Our leads were right. We ended
up spending 9 days there. We even took an advanced scuba class which was worth every penny. These pictures would
be more amazing if you could see what we saw UNDER the water.

Down a few steps from our hut, this tree just hung out on its own. |

|
We mostly ate fresh seafood on the beach after our dives. |

|
This little French girl (Marie) stayed with her family in the hut next to us for a few days. |

Our home away from home (for 9 days anyway). |

Andy was our instructor - we trusted him immensely. He talked Heather thru some fearful moments. |

|
Nils - another teacher. He wanted us to appreciate tiny things in the water like "little schwimps" |

|
Each day she showed us another "le petit bebe" - there was a litter of puppies nearby she adopted. |

|
Down the beach, Mr. J wasn't exactly promoting a family atmosphere! |
