Our Families

South Korea was over the top excited about hosting the World Cup here in June.  We were lucky enough to get into 2 games.  For one we took a trip 5 hours south to Ulsan and went to the Denmark/Uruguay match.  Then in mid June we flew to Jeju Island off the southern coast for just a relaxing beach weekend.  There was a Brazil/China match scheduled at the stadium there, but we had been told that it was sold out.  We showed up at the stadium and bought tickets last minute from a scalper for $50.  Both games were exciting and we had great seats by one of the goals for each game as well.  Brazil ended up winning the World Cup, so we got to see the world champs in action.

Cheering for China! They lost 4-0, but the fans were still excited - it's China's 1st trip to w.c.
